Default Schumacher Cougar SV photos and info

Schumacher said they wanted to keep the Cougar SV for the upcoming Nuremberg Toyfair - but someone got impatient and released a couple of teaser shots to whet the appitite!

The new mid-motor 2WD Cougar SV will come with the new PTFE coated 13mm 'big bore' dampers which have been tested on the CAT SX over recent months. The car can use stick or saddle-type lipo batteries. A 'reversed' motor position and multi-gear gearbox help put the power down.

We're also told the car features industry standard wheel fitment - though the front wheel fitment isn't clear yet.

The car also features what Schumacher are calling a 'constant radius steering system'.

The bodyshell looks like a throwback to the older cougars but features a built-in gear cover for the new mid-motor layout. A huge rear wing is nice change from the weedy CAT SX one and an undertray helps seal things up from the elements.

I reckon it'll be north of £250

I assume there will be the S1 and full Phil Booth style editions again.

Don't think the front wheels will fit the B4 as Shumacher use metric ball bearings.

Looks like you will have to buy CF links for the camber positions... Like the CAT SX
