It is to do with the weight transfer under drive / braking on a 2wd.

Remember what adding castor and kick up does to the handling balance ....

Also the more kick up the easier it is to get the car to ride over bumps / inclines (rather than running into them square on) but you can only run large amounts of kick up if your not applying large loads through the suspension as a by product of acceleration / braking .... a 4wd with as much kick up would be more like a nodding donkey than a race car

Old school design by Phil Booth, thought he would have used some modern tools.

Bit like my other half's father - very good old school designer for making food packaging machines.

The stickers need to be precut this time!

The more I look at it the more I like it, need to pursuade the Schumacher boys to come and visit our track.

I noticed that also and did start to wonder although the whole caster block/hub carrier setup does look very b4
