Default KF2 Rear Hubs

I've got some 1degree alloy rear hubs for my kf2,
Was just wondering when fitting them, do I need to change the toe blocks on the chassis or anything.
I have the blocks set for 3degree kit set up, with the alloy hubs I will then have 4degrees of toe, which sounds like a lot.
I could swap the blocks and end up with 3.5degrees toe.
Any advice welcome. Thanks.

During testing I have found that if you require 4 degree rear toe in on the rear then you get better grip by using the 1 degree rear hubs and the kit 3/2.5 degree hinge pin holders mounted for 3 degrees for the rear toe in settings. This works better than using the 4/1.5 degree hinge pin holders option part which can also give you 4 degrees.

I only use 4 degrees of rear toe in if it is damp or wet.

Schumacher have also made a brass rear hanger 3.5 degree which works well with the standard 3/2.5 degree hinge pin holders mounted for 3 degrees when you need that little bit extra but not the full 4 degrees.

Turning the stock 3/2.5 degree hinge pin holders round the other way to get 2.5 degree rear to in I only use when the track is high grip

I usually use the 4/1.5 degree hinge pin holders in reverse which then gives 1.5 degree toe in for very high grip carpet racing.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply,
So with the alloy rear hubs you can't get back to kit spec for rear toe.
I will flip the rear blocks so I have 3.5degrees toe, instead of the 3 I had and see how it goes.
I'm running on both carpet and grass tracks.

There are alloy hubs with zero degree toe in U4998 that fit the KF2. These allow you to put washers under the ball stud which can help when running a very long rear camber link so that it misses the inside of the wheel. The older style alloy hubs U3605 have +1 degree when installed the correct way round or installed the wrong way round will be -1 degree.

For 3 degrees toe in I use the use the kit rear hubs or alloy hubs U4988 and the standard (U4683 U4684) as a starting point and then change depending on the track grip conditions.

When running on damp/wet astro I use the standard kit setup which is 3 degrees (U4683 U4684) and then put the +1 alloy hubs U3605 to give me 4 degree toe as I found these work better than using U4719 when mounted for 4 degree toe in when tested back to back.

Schumacher have now released a new 3.5/2 front hinge pin hanger U7430 which will work on the KF2 as well as the newer KC and KD. If you had these and installed them for 2 degree then you could use U3605 alloy hubs to get back to the kit setting of 3 degree rear toe in.

High grip turn the kit front hinge pin hangers (U4683 U4684) around to give you 2.5 degrees and use the kit rear hubs or alloy U4988

Ultra high grip use the 4/1.5 front hinge pin hangers U4719 and install them in the 1.5 degree way and use the kit rear hubs or alloy U4988

You can see all of these options by looking at the KC Exploded diagram and the L1 Exploded diagram even these diagrams are for different cars the parts still apply to the KF2
