M25 is not a motorway, more of a car park!
I have spent hours trying to avoid traffic jams but then everyone else is too. I have to admit though that my BlackBerry's Sat Nav chooses a route that assesses the current traffic situation - it has become invaluable... |

Dave,
You need to aim this question straight to the BRCA, either Paul or Jacquie (sp?). Their email/phone numbers are on the BRCA site. Dan

Word of caution for anyone coming down the M1 from oop north...
When I've been going t'other way round the M25 on a Friday (to Taly and Oz) the southbound traffic at the base of the M1 is horrendous - even at 1pm. Coming back from Preston a few weeks ago, I hit the queues at Luton on the M1 at 2pm and didn't hit the M25 (only 10 miles or so) until 3.30. Last time I had to come southbound on the M1, I cut across at J15 and joined the M11 to avoid the bottom of the M1/M25 junction. About 30miles longer in total but more likely to be less hassle - though the cut across country goes single lane at times. M25 will just be heavy and congested like Matt says but will flow or crawl unless there's been a biggie. Track is definitely worth the wait though. Matt and the EPR boyz have put in a load of work and it looks great - and drives even better. Best have a few spares though |

I can recommend the A1 - A14 - M11 route then onto the M25. It is the way that Ellis and I have travelled up to the Worksop winter series, etc.
There are speed cameras on the A14 though!!!! |

Bearing in mind the time you are arriving G, you will be directed around the back of the bowling green but someone will be there to show you where to go. |
