Default Front end upgrades

I'm just starting to think about getting my Cougar ready for our clubs buggy season and have been looking at these upgrades

U3934 - zero trail alloy hub carrier
U3929 - alloy 7.5 degree yokes

Before I spend my money how are each of these likely to effect the handling of the car and are they worth it?

(we run on grass, I currently have kit standard parts fitted)

zero trail hubs are excellent, they improve the handling and are much stronger obviously. They will make the steering feel more direct.

The 7.5 deg yokes are worth trying for sure, it MAY be a bit too much though, I prefer 5 deg, but that's just my choice. The more castor added the more power on steering you will get, but will loose some steering coming out of the corners.

I couldn't believe the difference when I put an extra 5 deg castor on

Thanks for the info on the hub carriers, I was interested in them mainly due to the increased strength as the hub carriers were the main weak point I had on the car last year (can't recall how many I broke) but wasn't sure what changing the trail does.

No problem, it's very nice to drive with them fitted :-)
