HOLBEACH/EASTRAX OPEN MEETING

Sunday 23rd may 2010

2wd/4wd/sc10(if enough interest)

usual 4 rounds of qualifying (2 to count) and 1 final

Use this as a practice for the regional at eastrax on 30th may

Refreshments available from the new burger van

Book in by 9.45am
Racing to start 10.30 am

prebook either on Holbeach forum or pm dadtc3

Yeah he did! you definatly have to take your time cos if you get it wrong it goes very wrong! lol. Good track though once you get used to where you can push.

strange, that track did eat cars ever since it opened at the very begining of it's life,That tripple at the back was evil. I thought the new layout looked as if it was far more car friendly...must be the surface.hope to head out that way one sunday as it's a nice track to drive....once you get the hang of it

Yes Ian I can confirm it was 4 front towers on the B4, but i did them on the easy parts of the track. Track was very sandy on saturday but the racing line cleaned up on sunday and I didnt know of sand being a issue to spurs, wasn't getting into the Durango anyway.

Any sand/grit that gets into the teeth will chew a spur up.

Can't wait to race on this track on sunday, looks pretty rewarding IF you get it right....IF! lol

Was reffering to the fact I wasnt aware of any car failures over the weekend from sand, mine where sand free all day. Think that the club are going to try and clear the loose stuff off line before next weeks meeting.

Cleared a few grains from my spur throughtout rhe day. Nothing too serious though. Car looks like it has been shot blasted though
