old transponder system

hi, looking to see if theres any systems out there. we are just starting up so the pt system is a little high on the price really.

You can pick them up, I've bought an old amb 20 system recently, however the cost of replacing the batteries/transponders is expensive, so my tip would be to make sure the all work and hold a good charge level.

I may be mistaken but I don't think the handout transponders can be repaired (by AMB) anymore, effectively making them scrap. At York we've started using the high number ones to try and keep a full set longer!
Sooner rather than later we'll all need PT's to race (you already need one to race at national level)

you can get them repaired
mrt repair the ambrc ones and i got an email from aguy a couple of days ago saying he repairs them
I would have thought if he can repair ambrc he could repair amb20 tps
