Default Predator X10

Just bought this off eBay it's my birthday present to myself.

The guy selling it says he's not sure it's an x10. Clearly the chassis is, thoughts on the rest?

Anything missing apart from the battery straps? Anything I can use As a replacement for them as I'm guessing they won't be easy to find?

Will LiPo saddles fit?

Any suggestions on help on use and up keep appreciated

A big thanks to DanielC who's given me loads of info via email about various things.

Here's a few points about the car

The prop should have a one way on the front but I always ran a fixed prop because you have no front brakes with a one way

The front gearbox top has been upgraded to a X11 one and has what looks to be a de-anodised X11 rocker/arm mount fitted. Personally id leave it as it is if you’re going to use it as the rocker post pull out of the X10 gearbox top easily.

The steering link should be carbon fibre instead of aluminium but again I’d leave it as is, as the carbon ones break easily

The rear wing mounts should be clear,

And lastly wheels, they should be white and I believe plain (no writing/logos).

I'm not worried about these things, it's a pred with some changes, nothing that bother me, some extra wheels makes sense though :-)

Looks like a pretty much standard X10, they released some updated aluminium rockers for the front suspension so they’re a five away.

It does however have some parts off the X11, the front ‘X’ brace is a nice thing to have! Looks tidy, I miss my X11

Oh, just to mention, if you’re going to run it, keep an eye on the plastic driveshaft buds (at the diff end) they wear quite quickly and if you don’t replace them it will ruin your outdrives

Default Battery straps

I've got some original unused battery straps available, but they may be for an older model than that.
