Default lazer zxr mk3

me again, couldnt put pictures up on here,so ive put them in my profile albums, did they all come with carbon fibre and 1 way front diffs from new? because the carbon bits on the pics above are different to mine?(are they mk3?) if any one could tell me a roundabout price of what i should sell it for that would be great ,thanks

Rob,

the lazer looks much like a hopped up zx rather than a mk3. Firstly the slipper kindof gives it away as the mk3 had the spur attached via two screws much like associated used to do. Secondly the shocks are gold and option house and they i believe were not on the mk3, so looks like either a wasp top deck and either wasp or fibre lyte front and rear shock towers and could possibly be a different zx chassi with the cells fractionally further back. Also a cf zxr steering plate but would appear to be added at a later date. Looks great though and good to see the alloy pivot blocks so you shouldnt break that in a hurry as its one of the toughest to break.

is all that good or bad then?thing is how much would it sell for,ive just got myself a b44,so got to many cars now! but the lazer is the first car i got many years ago saving all my paper round money,so its a bit sentimental to me(yeah im sad,i know) so if it will only fetch say £40 id rather keep it,any guesses?

Hehe why have you got a few la228?

I still have not had a delivery yet. Will let you know when i do. Also hope to soon post pics of my zxs with proto lipo cell trays. Its coming together, hope to soon have made out brass as well as the rear top deck mount. Also i think next week if everything goes well that we have cracked the strength issue for the la11 pulleys. I need to test a little while more but has not died on me so far. Thats what the spares are for, just in case we need another one for a mold. Once we can get the layshaft pullies correct then the diff gears will be next and the ones I will be testing are a different design and super smooth diffs making it easier to work on compared to the gritty diff design in the standard kit
