That would be great, a friend did some slomo footage of SC's on youtube with the dukes of hazzard music, seemed very fitting

OK, had a fiddle today with the SC10 to see about doing some mods from that website (TeamSC10.com).

I think I might have found some of my problem! Turns out I had 0 deg. anti squat!! No spacers under the rear arm mount at all?! Lobbed 3 washers under it both sides so now it must be about 3-4 degrees Anti Squat. Also I did the mod chopping the rear foam spacer in half and raising the rear battery strap connectors to allow me to move the battery back.

The stock SC10 rear plate has 3 degrees of toe in and two degrees of anti squat so it doesn't need the shims.

Moving the battery back is great, I took a dremel to my strap, but the easiest way to deal with it is to turn the whole thing round so it's hinged at the front

Hmm....different arm mount then compared to the B4/T4 then? They use the shims to achieve all Anti-squat as far as I know.

Yep, it's a different moulding, I do believe the new toe blocks come with the truck now...

Toe blocks arrived today, will lob in the 4 deg. toe block and maybe keep my stack of washers giving my antisquat!! Although from the above then the new block will have less built in antisquat, be interesting to compare them to see how they differ in that respect.

Have you run it on track with all those washers yet? I'm intrigued in how it's affected the truck!

Well with standard toe and the new washers then I've only had chance to give it a bit of a bash on tarmac and grass, didn't seem to break lose as much when accelerating out of corners now I come to think about it. We'll see when i get chance to get it on the dirt again on Wednesday evening, same track as last time so should prove a good comparison as everything else is the same. Might leave fitting the 4 deg. toe block and try it as it is first, then fit the 4 deg. toe block and see how is then. I'll report back!

Also, do you guys use the standard front caster blocks or swap them out to the 30 deg. blocks as most seem to do with the B4?

I have 30 degree caster blocks on my truck, they seem to work pretty well

Hmm...I have a set I was going to put on my B4, decisions!! Hmm...well the SC10 doesn't seem to need any more turn in, so I might stick them on the B4 as apparently they help with better turn in, is that true do you know?

I thought it smoothed things out a little, and added more stability. Less off power steering and more on power steering is what I thought the 30 degree caster blocks changed...
