Could be better, as it goes out to the left - but the wire is still crossing the belt - so its no better than what I have done, which is basically nothing but cable tied it neatly.

What you could do though, is extend the connection extension out to the right over the ESC, so none of it crosses the belt. That'd mean your positive wire would be ultra short.

There is also too much exposed open live ripe for shorting out - it could simply move over to the other plug and you then have a dead ESC and Lipo. You need to heat shrink the whole thing so once plugged in there is nothing exposed - it'd also make it look far more pro'. (same with the negative, cover those open wires!)

Default dead

Now get that thing heat shrinked up and tidy or you be burying a dead cat !

I would have probably taken a peice of red wire and created an extension . Ie plug on one end and heat shrinked tube on the other and gone out the otherside of the car. at least then there is a degree of flexability and you dont go anywere near the belt !

oh doues everyone else do it

what if you bend the battery bar straight down behind the lipo pack and have the connector coming out at 90 degrees under the belt, same side as the other connector,

Hmm, looks better!
Incase you struggle to get the plug in before sliding the cells back, the tie wrap doesn't need to be so close to the plug - as you get less slack wire the way you have done it (not a bad thing). If you can get the plug in then its great!

Plus, glad you heatshrinkaged that bear solder joint. Protect your investment from letting out the magic blue smoke.
