Default Motor class

Hi all,

I got to ask a dumb question- with brushless motors, are there still stock and modified classes? I'm new to this and was looking at 8.5t but a friend told me most people run stock locally and should look at 10.5t or above?

Not sure if I'm even in the right section of this forum ... Thanks for sensible answers rather than being flamed down!

In touring cars there are still stock and modified classes, not in Buggy to the best of my knowledge (unless your local club runs a stock class of course?)

In regional and national series definitely not

John is right.

At York we run a 540 class (which is stock) and modified, but I think we are in the minority. It's very popular, especially with the youngsters
