You can do a lot of things, if you have the skills, whether said thing is smart or wise is another thing entirely.

pretty sure the lunchbox is designed around a 540 motor, whether a 720 would fit god knows, the real question should be why the hell would you want to, I'm guessing the gearbox will last all of 2-3 seconds.

if you want to keep the 10tooth pinion then no,it has a plastic motor repositioner which bolts to the motor and if you use it the motor will foul the tyres,if you use the motor straight to the gearbox like a hornet/grasshopper does then you can only use a 18 or 19 tooth pinion, ive seeen a lunchbox with a 3 turn brushless in it and that was crazy fast!!!!!
But why? its a wheelie fun truck not a touring car!!!
bung a 27turn stock motor in it ballrace it slap on some old skool yellow cva's dont bother with the 5th shock mod as its more hassle than its worth and get some stronger body mounts!!!.

Bearing kit & a 5th shock are a good start, you could change the shocks but the more you do to it will take away some of the characteristics that make the lunchbox such a fun car
