seems that theres only one person that has a big problem with going there. so dont bloody go and grow up. your talking like a spoilt child who hasnt got his own way.

ive only been to eastrax once and thought it was a awsome venue. the way ive read it hes doing you all a favour offering the track as a last minute venue.

i would embrace the opurtunity to run at eastrax as it may not happen again if the owner reads the comments on here

Default Long Live Eastrax

No doubt the guys at Eastrax had reasons as to why they decided not to host R/C at the venue this year, to be fair the reasoning behind it is none of our business.

Its a positive thing for all parties and a step in right direction for us to have the oppertunity to race there again.

Fingers crossed having our regional there may spur the Eastrax team on to start hosting regular meetings again, Paul is a top bloke and the venue and track in my opinion is one of the best in the country.

Long Live Eastrax

Totally agree we need to have more permanent tracks in the area for the local club drivers to increase the popularity of the hobbie, then when it comes to regionals the organisers will be spoilt for choice. We at Leverton are now looking at improving what we already have so then people in our local area will have a good starting point to go on to maybe Regionals or nationals, we need new BLOOD or else the whole hobbie will die so that means working in our local area to bring them in. We are also looking at a Winter championship maybe once a month we will see about dates when worksops dates come out so as to avoid them, with no tourers running we can quiet easily cover the tarmac to make the whole track all weather we have full indoor pitting, it would be nice to no other members views on this idea, see you at Broxtowe 28th June. Regards Darran

Looking forward to this one. It's one of the places I said I'd like to go to when I spoke to Charlie F, but at that point there was no regional there.

Looks like I get to go after all.

Could someone point me in the direction I need to go please?

Is this the address?

East Anglia Super Trax
Crown Farm,
Eastlands Bank,
Walpole St. Andrew,
Wisbech,
Cambridgeshire.
PE14 7LB.

Adam, yeah that's it. I think some Sat Navs try to take you a route that you can't actually go! It is right next to the A17, but you can't get directly across. The problem comes that there is a service road/drive for emergency vehicles from A17 to Eastlands bank - which some Sat Navs think you can use.

There are however some of the brown "tourist" type signs from the A17, just follow those and it's job done.

Default ARRR Too Late

ARRR bugger ! Spoke to Drabble this evening and mentioned it but we have a 09/09 meeting that day We were considering shortening the track at DEERDALE and letting you run! IC and Leccy at one meeting ! I would have done both ! Ran the SC10 around the full track and it was ace ! Love to see 4wd's hitting that tripple !
