Nah. He thought Steenari was. But I think even Laurent Borremans was before him. They were the 1st of the fast guys to do it.
But before then we started messing staggers up the first year we came to the GP, like proper Dutchies.... to get more life out of worn sets. These ended up having asmuch / more grip than new tires. It went from bad to worse from there....
But no one really noticed it at 1st since all the Dutch guys were somewhere in the Z-main back then.
