Default 3vcs won’t turn off

I’ve had a Futaba 3vcs for well over 10 years with no issue. Last meeting it turned on without the switch and wouldn’t turn off. The 2.4ghz module in the back has a green/red led on it that only lights when the controller is turned on but the display and on light are lit all the time.

Has anyone heard of this before and how it can be fixed? I can’t see any obvious corrosion or breaks on the boards. I’ve cleaned up bits with IPA as a bit of a long shot. It still powers up as soon as I connect the lipo.

Nevermind. The lad had turned the DSP knob that turns on the display without sending out a signal. A relic of the 40mhz days gone past so you don’t interfere with others racing.
