Default RC10 Gearing.

Hi all you RC10 Pro's.

Can any of you help with the Gearing of the RC10 Worlds.

I will be running a 13.5 and I'm wondering what size pinion to run with a 81t spur.

Any help appreciated.......

That's a big jump from 19t to 28t.....
I would think 19 is too small unless you have a massive amount of boost..
With 13.5t I would try around 25 and go from there..depending on the track..

I agree I’d personally run around 25/81 . I run a 19t spec motor in mine at 24/81 and that’s spot on .

I ran 31/81 at Brett Davies Cup with 13.5 with blinky

Car was great.

Didn't get hot. Geared up all day.

Thumbs weren't as good as the car.

Remember, on touring car FDR on 13.5 is 5 or 5.5 as a starting point. The motor should be ok with that on a light a 2wd buggy

Ok lads thank you.

I did think it was a big jump between the pinions.

Think I will go with 24-25 as start and see from there.

Thank you all.....

Mark you Also need to consider motor timing, you may be running esc in blinky most modern motors have adjustable timing and often come preset
The best guide is always temperature if it ain't hot its OK
