Default HW 3.1 stock spec issue /fault

hi gurus
have an almost new HW stock spec in my sons snoring car and it keeps dropping from boosted into "blinky" mode if you stop and turn back on it "reboots" into boosted mode again for a while

tried different motors and sensor leads even different cars and radio gear

my only other idea is if thermal trip in esc settings is causing it (although motor is not particulry warm
someone mentioned trying a 4 pot capacitor set instead of standard two pot supplied with ESC

any ideas fellas ??

thanks dave

When you say it is dropping into blinky. Is it going into sensorless. If it is try altering the lipo cut off to just 3v. If the power from the battery drops below your set cut off point even for a nano second, this will send the esc into sensorless If that does not work take the lipo cut off, off altogether. As long as you are racing you should be fine. But if you are bashing just watch the time you are running.
