Default Further information...

Since RHR is most likely unracable due to snow, I'm thinking about coming down and joining you guys for a blast this evening, but have some questions...

You say you race anything, but does this mean that you only get a couple of races? I'm gonna be travelling for almost an hour and if all I'm going to be able to race for is 10 minutes, it does make it a non viable option for me.

What classes do you run, is there a specific beginners class? Not that its something I'm looking to be in, but at the risk of sounding like a douche, I've had issues with being marshalled by people who think holding your car until everyone has gone past, then putting you back on the track facing the wrong way is the way it should be done. I dont want to have my night fun ruined by these such incidents...

Are the classes separated? Am I going to end up racing a B44 against a Mini 8ight and a touring car? Not that it matters, just want to know if I'm going to end up running over a mini 8ight and through a TC is all... to be honest, that does sound like good fun...

Anyways, depending on weather and some kind of monster blazing sun session, as well as the answers, I may indeed see you all tonight...

We will always accomodate anything but we usually have a heat of touring cars / minis, 2wd heat and 4wd heat.

2wd is by far the most popular so we normally have around 2 - 3 heats depending on numbers split into abilities.

4wd numbers are normally low but I'm sure we could always mix them into 2wd if you wished but normally they run separately

On a normal night we run 3 heats and a final and if you get there early enough and we have enough help with building the track we get practice time before we start.

check out our website at www.mansfield-rc-racing.co.uk we have got a video and some images in the gallery section on there so you can see the track.

Dave.

Don't know what kind of club you're used to racing at but none of the above issues would apply at our place, I like to think we run a professional but fun club
