Default SV2 diff in a 2011 spec SV pro?

Hi there, I'm just doing some work on my cougar sv and have a lot of wear on the out drives so i'm looking to replace them. Will the SV2 out drives fit/work? as they look like a more robust design, but if they won't fit, i'll go with the standard SV versions. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Oliver

Hi the sv2 diff fits but outdrives are shorter to allow more droop so need to be used with sv2 driveshafts.
Well worth the dosh imo

Cool, thanks for that. Just another thought, would the cougar svr drive shafts be too long? or would they fit okay?

I've just had a quick look around - the SV 2011 driveshafts are 60.5mm long, the SV2 are 65.25mm long, and the SVR are 66.25mm so I suspect the SVR drive shafts will be a bit too long, but as you've said, the SV2 ones should be the perfect fit
