Default Corally

Hi all. Thinking of using corally for next year. Are they any good. LooKing at servos, esc's and motors. The bit that worries me with the esc is that the Capacitor I'd built in to the esc. Will be using it in pr s1 v3 2wd buggy.
Cheers
Martin

Hi,

Capacitors are internal only the pro 160, the 120 they are external. Got a couple of pro 160' ready to go in new buggy's. I can't yet comment on performance, but external build looks good.

Si

I'm using all corally electrics in my PR buggies. goes very well.
if you get the speedo, make sure you get the programmer as well as you cant adjust any settings without it.

I use the full size servos in all my 1/10th and 1/8 scale. good thing if you are using the Cerix 160 and the corally servos is that the Cerix has an adjustable BEC and the servos are fine with 7.2v giving you a bit more speed and torque.

one tip with the speedo though. if you are using the supplied fan, put an M2.5 washer in between the top of the fan and the guard, otherwise the fan blades will break off after a heavy landing.

In the process of updating with corally kit. Love the motor and servo and an esc soon to go in. Motor performance really impressed me, bags of torque but smooth with it-even with the lower winds.

Default Corally

I have a couple of the 160's running in a 2wd buggy and sct truck, all good and have to say they run cool no issues ... also have the servos and motors in both .
