Default TRF502X carbon parts

Hiya all,

I´ve (again) been doing some carbon stuff. This time for the TRF502X.

3 new parts.
----------------------------------------------
4 piece LiPo Tray:
Yes, they are carbon versions of Tamiyas plastic tray. No surprises here.

----------------------------------------------
3 piece LiPo Tray (with carbon/brass centerpiece):
LiPo tray made of 2 mm carbon. Comes with carbon middle piece. Brass middle pieces (3 pieces) can also be purchased.
You use the battery post to secure the outer frames.
Price for 3 piece carbon tray: 15 euros.

----------------------------------------------
LiPo Straps:
Wanted to bling the 502X up a bit. Also wanted different design than the 501X straps. These follow the shape of the upper deck.
Made of 2 mm carbon.
They cost 13 euros/pair.

I´ve updated first post with some info.
I´ve also added some pics of first version of the tray here:
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_m...04792&id=13377

For some reason I could´nt add pics in the post.

On final version of the tray and straps I´ve made some minor changes.

Thanks!

Yeah, carbon LiPo tray cost 15 euros. Straps 13 euros for 1 pair.

Have also made shock towers (front and rear) in both 3.5 and 4 mm carbon. Will be in stock soon.

Forgot to add pic of new middle piece.
Now easier to add or replace the weights. Also easy to adjust position without having to remove the screws:

Pic showing the tray and strap:

Pic showing the carbon middle piece and the 3 different weights. Slots makes it easy to add or replace weights. Just "slide" them into place without having to remove the screws. Slots also makes it easy to adjust position (rear/back position).

Prices for the TRF502X parts:
------------------------------------------------
TRF502X Carbon Lipo Tray: 15 euros
TRF502X Brass weights (3 pieces): 21 euros

------------------------------------------------
TRF502X Battery straps (2 pieces): 13 euros

------------------------------------------------
TRF502X 3.5 mm front shock tower: 11 euros
TRF502X 4 mm front shock tower: 15 euros

TRF502X 3.5 mm rear shock tower: 15 euros
TRF502X 4 mm rear shock tower: 21 euros

I ship worldwide.

I have a limited stock of trays and straps. Will have brass weights in stock next week.
Towers will be ready to ship ~2 weeks.
Will have quite a few in stock, so there will be no problem to find shock towers for the 502X.

This is an alternative to adding all those spacers on the front and rear shock towers to give the shocks a more vertical shock movement.
Shock tower spacers in 2mm carbon.

This will allow you to use shorter screws on the shock damper bushings=shorter moment arm=less load on the shock tower and screw...

The spacers follow the shape of the bulkhead top/sides and the shape of the shock tower at the bottom. Makes them hard to spot.

This is how the front shock tower/bulkhead looks like with spacer in place:

First batch of weights has arrived.
Think I forgot to write earlier, but they weigh 8, 12 and 16 grams.
Looks something like this with 12 grams added:

I think it would be a good time to learn how to speak Japanese my good friend. You will move there and I will miss you. Tamiya is going to kidnap you, I am sure of it.
