Massive thanks to jimmy, the oople team and the RHR team for an epic weekend. Was one of the best race meetings I've been to in ages. Jimmy's commentary was brilliant (even if some of the superstars didn't like it) more of the same please at next round

Great weekend, all us Scots enjoyed our trip down to the foreign land, we should have brought some Scottish weather down for the Saturday....it was chilly in Oopleland. Well organized and ran like clockwork and great track, cheers guys. Bring on Southport and more of Jimmy on the mic please.

Col.

Thanks mate - I was getting really into the mic stuff - but those pesky A finalists didn't like it so much so I gave up. You have now enthused me to commentate all day at Southport I thought it was funny anyway.

Maybe I'll just do all but the top heat :P

Think it should be manditory for you to do the commentary for every race. Thought the weekend was brilliant jimmy. Non of the serious stuff like the brca events.

Thanks for all the great comments guys, it's replies like these that spur the team on to make the ooooos series the best most relaxed and fun meetings in the country.

Thanks for all that attended and enjoyed the brilliant track and had great banter.

Hope you didn't mind my novel way of sorting the tie break out?

Rock, paper, scissors for the World Championships

The only thing we get out of this is seeing lots of positive feedback - at the race and afterwards. This is the reward for the efforts.

Remember guys - these meetings are absolutely non-profit. We might invest in a radio mic and a long monitor cable so I can commentate some more . Might even get the beeps working for the next round finals.

Great to see so much positive stuff - it's great that everyone can enjoy what's essentially an RRCI - style series. A series for those wanting to have fun in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. 100% open, anyone can come race.

Southport will be the final round and it'll be a great one - but obviously there's the Invernational and some more ideas in the pipeline. And as always - FUN is what it's all about. I will personally wrestle anyone out who continually swears in frustration or at marshalls - this is a promise.

And I think deciding tied or incredibly close finishing finals by a game of Rock Paper Scissors is the future lol

Thanks James, and Rich did a fantastic job with the track design.
Just let us know when you are organising the next work party, and we'll be down again to help.

Thanks again for all the positive comments guys. We had some great close racing on probably one of the best layouts I think we've ever run on the track The small tweaks over the winter have made it a lot more flexible for layouts It was fun using the concrete corner too

Maybe we can have a whip round at Southport drivers briefing to buy a bag of 'beeps' to use for the finals?
