Have you checked the batteries in the controller. Sounds similar to another problem that I had and solved it with fresh batteries

Now i had this before and i needed to rebind the speedo and the transmitter together, i tried to do this but it didn't like the full forward position, i waited until the racing had stopped and did it again and it all worked fine. I went out to race, come back in at the end and then to marshall, when i came back i tried the car and the same thing again.
Now 1 thing i did notice was when i pushed full throttle the bind light on the RX dimmed down until i let go. Im running a sanwa 2.4 system but i have the Ansmann RX in the car, ive run these for around year or so with no issues, do you think it could be that ?

It may have been a coincident, but one attemp i moved the sensor wire and it worked and another i just left it switched on and kept trying it and it worked.

Anyideas, i thinking of trying another RX first.

Cheers

Ross
I have never seen two companies 2.4ghz be compatible before, ever. This would be a first.

The led's can tell you a lot of what's going on. Check this page and tell me what it looked like: http://www.teamtekin.com/rs_troubleshoot.html

Need an 8th esc short term, and am also stuck without a pc (Apple only sadly!), so, if I get an RX8 what can I do without hooking it up to a computer? What is able to be set direct to the esc without a Hotwire or computer connection?

You can do pretty much all that you need to do with the mode buttons. Main thing is timing that you cant do or Custom cutoff voltage which isnt major, and you wont really need timing on the RX8.

Can the tekin esc be used buy any tablets? Like the ipad/samsung/sony/etc etc
Android software then it would work with nearly any tablet.

I have a little 7 inch netbook that I have in the tool bag but Id rather have a tablet than the computer.

Damn even usage with the smart phones that are being released today would be great

No, not until the tablet and phone manufacturers allow USB host control.

We are working on options at this time.

Google it. None of the current smart phones nor tablets offer the ability for "host control" which is required for Hotwire usage.

The RS Pro wouldnt really be suited with the pro4 motors, You would need to get the RX8. You will get far more out of the motors performance using the RX8.

I would buy one as well but Im not real sure that it will work, You still have to have the software installed, and Im not sure you can have it on the phone.

Thats why I still have my little 10" laptop with me

I have the new S2 and the "host" is not active at this time. Yes certain functions work but the internal processor is still not allowed to control an external device at this time.
