Run this for a year now and a mighty impressive beast it is too! I feel there are going to be a few more of these around next year!

First time out with the 401 yesterday and it's such an easy car to drive quick, very responsive and very good over the bumps, without doubt the first time in 2 seasons i have enjoyed running a 4wd car.

For those who have bought one you won't be disappointed

Default SB401 LW questions

Hi,
I have a used SB401 LW that I am planning to run primarily on grass and dirt tracks to start with. This will be my first time running a 4wd car.

I'd appreciate some info Re. Slipper vs Centre diff on these surfaces plus suggestions for a suitable base setup for the diffs. The slipper that came with the car has pretty worn drive cups. Eventually I'm planning to order the ultra hard option slipper shaft but I was considering swapping it out for the gear diff in the meantime to get up and running.

Many thanks in advance
McT
