The black one is the a prototype built by Mr DARC , the other car is a production version.

Both going very well!

Has anybody already try to use another bodyshell? I'm very tempted but I just received a so nice body from RCS... Would a DEX410 Bulldog fit the chassis or not?

It seems that the rear is larger... Is there anywhere a comparison of the two chassis (DEX and DARC) from the bottom?

Hi Airwave
Yes I do believe that some have used other shells other than ours ( sorry signed in as rebel rc but am also Darc1)
Although I am not sure of the exact info.
Yes you are correct
Our car is narrower at the front and wider at the rear so I guess people have stretched the rear of the shell over ( not ideal but if it works for you then great)
I'm glad you considered our chassis but sadly we are out of stock
And are having an issue with a supply of out clutch adapter
But hope to sort it soon
Also we may soon be offering a conversion for your 410 that will fit your shell but drives like a darc at a much much reduced price
How's that for honesty?
Fingers crossed it all works out for us
Thanks
Scott

Sounds very promising... I like the DEX410 very much but you have achieved in term of weight distribution is very interesting...

I'm going to wait impatiently some news about your new car... Thanks...

I picked up a DARC conversion for my 410 several months ago locally and love it but I need a replacement extension for the slipper assembly. The screw holding the outdrive in came loose and tore the ears right off. Is there a website i can order it from or direct or?

Thanks

Hi Culetto
Sorry I do not get on here much recently.
I am glad you love your darc
And what a shame that screw came loose
We are completely out of clutch adapters and sadly cannot find a new supplier to make them.
So then
What to do?
How are your engineering/ modding skills
What I would advise
Is to take some 2mm Durango drive shaft pins
Drill with a 2mm drill bit into the broken adapter where the ears/lobes were to a depth of 8mm
Insert the drive pin (10mm length) so you should then have 2mm of pin sticking out
Then bolt on out drive as before with the special darc ( white dotted ) screw.
The beauty of doing this mod is that you can replace the pins
This is how our prototypes were driven and tested.
Hope this helps
I will post a pic from the prototype
Thanks
Scott

How long is this adapter ?
Is it possible to use a front center shaft instead ? It 16mm longer than the rear center shaft. 84mm vs 68mm.
