Default Spring Perch?

If you're asking about the Spring Perch on the bottom of the shock:
The longer ones are for the front.
The shorter are for the rear.

Printed on the inside of the spring perch is a '-2' or a '0'.

On the DEX210v2 fit them as follows:

'-2' In the front
'0' In the rear.

In the V2 kit instructions on page 66 ive got mine as it says in book.no.2 on rear shocks and no 1 on front shocks.it also says to build them this way on page 42. I cant find a shock retainer in the kit with 0 on . Please reply to this .im not sure who's correct on this matter .Thanks.

Sizes 0 and -2 are embossed on the inner face of the perch, though I thought I had it right at 0 in the front -2 in the rear as these relate to the manual part numbers?

And made sense with the -2 LRC and 2mm shorter shock shafts.

Maybe Adam will clarify this.

the -2 go in the front. Its because it uses a shorter front shock the springs would otherwise be too long. The rear you use the normal ones otherwise you'll need a ton of pre load. The end result is the same, just more room for adjustment

If you get your spring perch and look at the place where i am pointing my hex to in the picture you will see either a 0 or - 2

-2 to front
0 to the rear.

As per the build manual
1 to front
2 to rear

The - used in the manual is used to separate the numbers it is not a minus sign.

Hope this helps to finalize the situation.

Attachment 68623
What you're pointing to is a "0", not a 1. And yes, it goes on the front.
If you look closely, you'll see the rear is stamped with a "-2".
Adam has stated the opposite of the v2 manual (page 66), so the manual could possibly be wrong.
The manual shows part# 330600-1 is for the front shock, and that particular part is stamped with a "0".
Part# 330600-2, for the rear, has a "-2" stamped on it.

So, according to the manual:
"0", front.
"-2", rear.

Hi hyperfx thanks for correcting me I have rechecked the numbers and you are right I was tired last night from racing.

-2 to front
0 to rear

I would presume the -2 at front is to take into account the shorter shock body and so allow proper ride height adjustment before the spring collar will get to the top of the shock body.

I personally don't think the manual is wrong.
I've been running my v2 with the 0 on the front and -2 on the rear, (as per manual) and it's very dialed in!

According to the manual:
"0", front.
"-2", rear.

These spring cup offsets are purely to allow you to gain a broader range of ride height adjustment.

if you use the -2mm spring cup and your pre-load nut -2mm lower on the shock body it will be exactly the same.

so these different cups are used to broader the range of ride height adjustment on your shock bodies. if you are need the top of your adjustment range on the preload nut on the shock body, you can use the -2mm cup to gain another 2mm of adjustment.
if you are near the very bottom of the threads on the shock body, use the 0mm cup.

as long as left and right are the same and you can get the desired ride height then you are all good.

If you use the -2 on the front, in some suspension settings, the perch hits the a-arm before full droop. But, if you use the 0 on the front, it will not hit the a-arm before full droop in any of the possible settings. You can use either perch on the rear with no problems.
