Default liquid mask help

right i have a brand new jar of the bob divley stuff here and ive given a shell 5 coats of the damn stuff each time its dried before applying the next coat im doing it in thick but not so thick it laves clumps its been left over night in the airing cupboard and is ready to cut.
thing is when i cut it and go to peel it is like its only had 2 coats thinly applied not peeling properly has any one else had this problem with this brand?
i had a shell that was allready masked but was with a green masking and i found that to be a lot better but unsure of what masking that was.

cant say i have ever had that problem with divleys mate, usually 4-6 good coats is more than enough, if its hard to remove and feels brittle add some more thick coats,if its hard and rubbery you may have force dried it to quick, again add another good coat it usually softens up abit after another coat, good luck let us know how u get on,

The first batch of mask I got was ever so slightly on the thin side. I think this batch might be ever so slightly on the thick side.
If needed, you can add a tiny bit of water to get it to your required consistancy. I spray mine through a spray gun so let me know how ya get on bud. Not had anyone say about it being too thick yet though.

What brush do you use for spraying it Jon, and how do you clean out after?

mines a cheap 1.4mm and does the job ok, would be better if it was around a 1.8-2.0 i reckon though. clean with water as soon as you finish/inbetween coats.
