Hi Adey

Choose the reinforced material. It stands up to heat better. You can buy the motor plate directly from AZ Mechanics. Message him on Facebook.

The HBI aluminium version is in the pipeline. I've called it the HBI Dino because the profile looks like Fred Flintstone's dog!

The outline specification is as follows:
• Material Aluminium 6082 (fantastic heat sink)
• 13:1 to 6.1:1 with 80t spur
• 9.88:1 to 5.2:1 with 76t spur
• Configured for shorty battery in forward position
• Waterfall fully forward and connected to C-Plate, a carbon chassis stiffener in battery bay
• Rear Shock Tower Mount incorporated into gearbox casing (thanks to Mike Best for idea) No need for £50 of Rear Shock Tower Mount.
• Quick access to swap diff without dismantling half the car
• Can be mounted directly to original HBI T-Plate for TC02C and retains anti-squat adjustment
• Can be mounted to HBI TC02C-Evo T-Plate after modification. (Free modification for anyone who returns their T-Plate when purchasing the Dino) Anti-squat adjustment is retained

Currently this is a four gear box but a three gear version will be hot on its heels.

I shall soon take advanced orders and I'm aiming to keep the price below £60.

I shall be making my own motor plate to go with it.

Hi,

The only proper material available is standard Polyamid.
No reinforced plastic available yet from Sculpteo.
It is why I had to design a version with more material named "reinforced".

Please note that the driver Nicola RISSER use currently the first release of the light one with success.
He won the French Cup 2015 with it on wet astroturf and reach the top at the EOS round one on high grip carpet.

Default AZ Mechanics

Welcome to the forum and the Team C section. I am not on Facebook so can't access details of the low rider gearbox you offer, but have seen pics of it on Nico's buggy. I am interested in it and would like info and price etc.
Please can you message me on the forum or provide more info.
Thanks.

Hi,

The plastic parts are available here http://www.sculpteo.com/fr/s/azizouh/ or here https://www.shapeways.com/shops/azmechanics

There are explainations with each models available on Sculpteo.

Better order in white Polyamid plastic to be painted by yourself (cheaper).

For the motor plate, please send me an email at azizouh@free.fr

Thanks for your interest.

I ordered the parts from Shapeways and was wondering how long they take to arrive?

Hi Mr AZ,

I have people asking if I can pre-drill my T-Plates for your Lowrider.

Any chance that you could tell me where your fixing holes are located with respect to the existing gearbox fixing holes?

Cheers

Clive

Hi,

I placed the 2 new holes for the 4 or 3 gears low profile gearbox at 24 mm from the original housing front fixing holes.
