kf2 paint
I like and want to paint my new kf2 matte black. I race on grey carpet, will this affect my riding in aspect of recognizing my car on the track ?

To a point, yes it will. If you've driven dark cars before you might be perfectly fine with it. I personally can't drive as well with black wheels but can with a dark body shell, it's all a personal preference thing. There's good reason why a lot of "pros" have fluro colours though.

I agree my car is mostly black but run it with yellow wheels. Not only do I find it easier to see (I am OLD) but others find it easier to see you. Always a bonus if they can see you coming.

Some people like to be able to "orientate" their car with different colours front to back or a stripe through the centre. Personally I don't think that matters, the only issue I ever caused myself was painting each side of my car a different colour so when I went into the corner I was following my blue sided car, when I came out of the corner I should have been following my red sided car but in the heat of the race had a bit of a brain fart and was following someone else's blue car D-oh.
As above though would definitely think it's worth having coloured wheels rather than going completely stealth and all black. |
