Sorry guys, been really busy of late!

I do not know anything about the club as it goes, it just happens to be my local! I do know (from their website) that they do a lot of 1/8th/Nitro...

I haven't been down to the track as of yet, but might pop down at the weekend to find out more.

Cheers
Mark

Phil,

Doug has never been quick at returning mails as I don't think he checks them very frequently.

I have his number if you need it.

On a serious note about this track...

However good the new track may well be (it couldn't get much worse than the time I went, as it would have been less bumpy and wrecked had it suffered a nuclear assault!) if anyone going has a sports car or something low that they would like to keep the bumpers attached to, it would be well worth borrowing something with some more ground clearance!!

The route from the road to the track is literally THROUGH farm fields and would be better suited to Strobe's flying Quattro!!

Just thought I'd point it out, as it was a good job I had a hired Vectra when I went or I wouldn't have even got to the track!!

The access is via a track NOT through fields and has had a lot of work done to fill any holes. It realy isn't bad now and people should not be put off

Hmm, may be time to put a call into my dad, nearly took my front off getting into Southport track, so this one sounds risky!

Can we put an entry list up, I entered ages ago but didn't hear back?

Track looks interesting. Hopefully the weather will be dry that weekend.
Can't wait to start the 08 Off-road Outdoor season off.
Would of liked to of gone and done the indoor finals but very busy at work. Working sat/sun. 2 12 hour shifts on double time. Can't turn the money down with all this racing coming up.

I am going to pop down there today for a chat with Gordy .... I'll go down in the Mini (proper Mini, not the discusting abomination with the BMW badge) and if that gets there no problem then you have nothing to worry about!!!

Just got back and I can say that the track leading to the race-track is still a little rough but certainly should nto be a problem for anybody who drives along it carefully.

The race track is coming along very nicely. I think everybody will have a great days racing on it and it has plenty of features but should still be very flowing. A credit to all concerned.
