That is good to know

I really like the look of the car and am interested in the fact that in the pictures there was no alterations in the front cactus tyres but am not sure if that is before they had any pins cut off before a run.

I went through some of the exploded diagrams of the current CAT range on the Schumacher website and comparing them I think that the L1 looks a very nice and simplistic design and should do well.

Before they actually run it. If you look at the action shots, then the same heavy trimming was used as the other teams. Not an issue, it just means that the L1 has a lot more natural steering than it's predecessor (which is a good thing)and that the front cactus isn't great out of the pack on EOS (which we already know).

It looks nice, well thought out and quick. Only potential drawback the slightly fragile top decks, but should be a good car.

What makes you say they are fragile?

I am thinking that the ball diff will be more like the KC ball diff as the K2 ones are too big. The KC ball diff pulley is different in size to the KC gear diff pulley

If you look at pics 3 and 5 on the Schumacher page you can see holes in the rear wishbones and also rear mounting of the shock tower

I went through the instructions yesterday and to my novice eyes the belts all look very complicated is it easier to install setup and maintain than it looks?

It is easier to maintain than it looks from the exploded diagram. I think that the L1 is the simplest and tidiest layout I have seen so far in the CAT range.

Won't be as easy as the leading shaftdrive platforms for that, but will be easy enough esp once you get used to it. Wouldn't let that put you off.

its something like 95% new and i doubt the arms will fit the k2. most of the team ran the 10 degree kit caster blocks on the k2, 10 are on this after lots of testing.
if you watch the the live feed on facebook, its had some high speed impact testing done .

ill be upgrading without a thought!
Anybody knows what is actually included in the kit in terms of springs and roll bars ?
The exploded diagram shows part numbers that refer to the full spring set, or full set of roll bars. It is unlikely to be all of them... But then why does it not mention the actual part number for the specific spring or roll bar included...
Thanks !

I‘m actually pritty excited about the cat L1, i do realy like the touring stile center mount of the transmission and the kind of mounting of the top decks!
If i would race more often, i would get one for myself, but i still have my, at the release in 2016 bought and built, never drove K2, full with all new electrics standing at the shelf, so it is still virgin....

May someone is looking for a K2, with quit a lot of spares, i would be willing to talk about!
