I don't think so. Anyway I hold one belt in my hand's and he is totally different to the original Schumacher one. He is a bit expanded, more strong (material is not so flexible) and you can see, there is a lot off kevlar inside. This weekend I will have a test at our club track and I hope it will be my choice for the future.

Just ordered one myself and I totally despised belt cars. But after looking at this layout it just looks plain dialed and balanced. The quality is unreal and I just had to have one. Everything just seems well thought out and Schuey customer service is like no other. Some one mentioned how well they are at communicating and getting back to you and its true. I owned a cougar a few months back and received responses to each and every question as well as parts to help me along.

No other company ever did that for me in the past. There is something to be said on that alone. Ive driven them all, rango, b44, 501, db01, and more. BUT Ive seen the cats on the track and they look amazing. Now with all the great feedback on the new version its like a no brainer. The only difficult thing to figure out is the wiring, after that its all set up. The belt issue will be resolved Im sure just as the old shock problem they had with the gen1 kits was solved....and dare I say the upgrade parts were sent out to customers for free?!?!?!?

Lemme see any other company do that and back their products. Im by no means a sponsored driver or a real fast racer, but cmon if all thats wrong is a lil belt issue that can be solved with adding some glue to the seams till a better part comes out...I think thats a damn good car.

I also like how the diffs and pulleys front and rear are covered well unlike the tamiya versions, which drove well but required insane maintenance when driven on blown out dirt tracks.

And one last thing, I recently sold pretty much every car I owned as well as equipment due to my work schedule not allowing me to run much if ever. After seeing this car come out and seeing the way its built, I couldnt resist and even if I barely run it this year, the build alone is worth it, looks so sweet. It will be a pleasure to build.....and drive Im sure

Cs-Electronic belt is really strong. 25 runs each 7 min. in race and no problems. Belt look's
like new.

Doesn't Schumacher distibute CS products, I would check with Shumi if this isn't the same belt supplied in the kit first.
