So here is the RPM Gearbox with mods carried out. Also showing mods to the rear hinge pin holders......

Nice snug fit but my bum did twitch a little while doing this as I only had one chance.......

Default RPM Gearbox build

Built the RPM Gearbox up.

Shows the original Teflon shield bearings, diff, idler, layshaft and complete original slipper with second edition yellow single slipper pad.

Original slipper pad was red for those who didn't know..

The famous (don't touch the felt else it falls apart) fitted very carefully to the case....

Original motor plate fitted, which I cut and filed to shape. Then polished the edge....

Default Gearbox, front end and shocks.

The RPM Gearbox is now installed and went in like a dream. The front turnbuckles, castors and driving arms/axles installed.

The shocks have been stripped, new oring kit, cleaned. The rears have new original adjusters and spring cups as these were black on the rear when first arrived. New white RPM Delrin shock pivots fitted to the rear also....

The original wing mounts polished up and fitted.

As per instructions fitted,

Front,
New green springs cut x3 coils off

Rear,
New green springs full length.

Starting to look good now......

I'll come over on Saturday and we'll pimp it out, and I'll bring the others over.

Default Shocks on !!

So fitted the shocks and battery strap to the RPM ULTRA.

Wheels/Tyres and Gear cover next.

Then a little trip to Mr Penguin to pick up my shells and wings.

THEN THE PAINT !! I have managed to get a good selection of original vintage stickers.

So once I have the shells I will pop in to the garage and start !! THE PAINT !!....
