Default Which wind motor in a truck then?

It seems that the "norm" in a 2WD buggy is around a 6.5L (using the Novak motor as reference), so with this is mind would the same apply for a 2WD T4 or is there a more commonly used wind of BL motor?

Thanks

I can tell you a 4.5R and 4900 TrakPower is tooooo fast! It flips onto it's lid and wears the shell away!

I would say a 6.5R perhaps (less chance of wheelspin in a heavy truck and with those big tyres?)

Maybe even a 5.5R???

It's been running for a while, but I have no tyres (that are any use indoors or even in the UK!) for it

Trust me, the 4.5 is beyond insane. At any sped if you 'pin it' you just end up with it on it's lid

I might leave it in for it's first race though

Lipo or Nimh?

7.5R and big Lipo was too savagefor York indoors on sat night, putting a 7.5L when I get one. I think a big Lipo is worth a wind so if you're Nimh then 6.5L sounds right.

I've got a 4.5L G, when we finally run trucks at York we should both run them for 1 heat

I used a 6.5 with 21t pinion and an 87t spur with either the Core 5000 Li-Po or Trakpower 4900. Plenty fast enough and will still pop a wheelie if you are too throttle happy.

I've found with my T4 to motor and gear it (mm/rev) like a 4wd, I'm planning on a Nosram 6.5 in Florida with whatever huge lipo I can get to last the 15 minute final
