So you can only use Proline tyres on the track. Are there any limitations on cars? I use both brushless and stock motors with losi and tamiya chassis. Are these ok? As for the Losi chassis im not sure they do a proline tyre in the hub size. The tamiya will take pretty much any standard tyre but the losi has proved to be problamatic on wheel changing. I have some Ansmann buggy wheels i could modify that have the same tread as proline. Are these acceptable?

which Losi will you be running 2wd or 4wd?

Only Pro-line tyres as per entry conditions.
Wheels are free you can run any type.

As far as cars are concerned as long as it is 1/10th off road not a problem.

As per first post

Will tyres be available trackside from the first meeting? I've got exactly the same problem with a Losi XXX 2WD. Anyone know a shop with Losi rims in stock?

And what are the recomended tyres? Low profile 4 rib fronts (#8175-02) and Holeshot rears?

Didn't know that! Cheers!

But does that mean the fronts aren't universal? Mu Losi has a little hex drive (the bearings are in the hub) and a 1/8 stud.

you need actual losi fronts but the rears are close, not sure if they have quite the same offset though, if you need some wheels let me know i'm sure i can sort you some out.

Might be interested in a Sunday/BH Monday meeting at some point. Would it be possible to run my T4 truck if we had some of them? I want to use up the kit tyres that came with it LOL!

All the best
Mark

Hey, I can't make it this time, but is there a schedule for events, or weekly races, or anything?

Is there any comformation that tyres will be availabe at the race next week?

I need for 2WD Wide Rib Front (PL8176) and Hole Shot Low Profile rear (PL8184) I think? Anyone correct me if I'm wrong because I know nothing about off road tyres.

Cheers, Chris.

lee posted a little while back on here that MK racing should have tyres in from today?

as for future meetings.. this wednesday will be the first meeting and depending on how we get on etc we plan to run every wednesday night tbc...

and we will be sorting future sunday events including big events like the proline dirt challenge 10th..

yes eventually we will run truck as they prob the best class that goes round this track along with 2wd.. just depends on numbers

1st meeting will just be 2wd and 4wd tho with some SC

Thanks

Tony

Sweet. I'd love to get a bit of semi-regular mid-week racing in.
