bubble effect
As title.
Any help, advice or a link, on how to paint this effect Cheers

Have a look on YouTube for some good videos.
If you mean the water drop then I believe you need solvent based paints so that the paint is suspended on the water. For bubbles as such, try with some cut out circles, you need the 'hole' not the 'disc' and mist a very fine shadow over the bottom corner, so for example from 5'o clock around in both ways slightly. Something like a light blue backed with White would work... |

Here is a picture of a shell I did not too long ago, to go with what Wynney said regarding bubbles.
If you mean water drops, mist some water drops on the shell then spray your colour from a shallow angle from one direction to catch one side of the drops. Then you can either just dry under a hot lamp and back with colour or dry, then use another colour to spray the bubbles from the other side, dry then back. As mentioned, various videos on the net |
