Default 1/10th as first TC

Hi all,

I race currently with Tamiya Mini's and 10th buggies and am I interested in trying TC out.

Can you recommend a good starter car, more than likely second hand. My club has a 13.5t motor limit too.

Cheers

Boons

Or 2011... Or 2012. Get the latest model you can afford.

The quality of the X-ray cars is fantastic, so they tend to age well and make good second hand cars. Just make sure the driveshafts are in good condition, as replacing them will be expensive.

I agree with both of the above Xray make great cars and are strong, reliable and good out of the box. I would also recommend new if possible (try and get hold of a good deal on last years model if possible) if within your budget.

Or T2 009, I have 1 and a T3 12 both are amazing and a lot of parts swap over, have had the 009 for 3 years nearly and the 12 for a year both bought second hand, have only broken 2 front right hubs same corner same track and 1 rear hub running 13.5 boosted, smashed my way through a few shells but cars are strong.
