I'm stuck now on the colour scheme for mine.
Want it to look 'scale' but also to look special.

Hmmm.............

Yeah, had a natter to him on Tuesday and he's sent me some Edit bearings for the steering rack, £2 per pair . Wish I'd known Edit did them last year when I paid £14 for a set of AS3971's for my B4 .

We are running a heat for SC10's at Mansfield on wed nights and Broxtowe on Fridays. Come and have a run. It'll be the best fun you've had in ages. Mansfield is multy surface indoors and Broxtowe is a really good outdoor venue.

Nice job DCM, but it supports my theory that custom paint jobs dont suit them. I like the detail on the roll cage etc.

The Rockstar one further up looks the part though.

Default Gearing question

Will be running a second-hand 10.5T stock spec X-11 so I've fitted the 84T spur but it doesn't seem to leave much room to fit a pinion even with the motor as far back as it'll go (its now hard up against the rear bash guard).

What motor/gearing combo's have you guys that already run an SC10 found work well?

Cheers.

I've got 18/87 on an LRP Eraser 10.5, can get a 20/87 on, just!

I saw the one in DCMs pic on Sunday and I love it, I'm torn between scale and custom now. I might do something scale but with my colours and sponsors

thing is, until H puts stickers on it, it will look custom, but there are CORR PRO trucks with more than 'block schemes' out there on the tracks too. I ain't saying an Andy Moore replica would work, but a more traditional flames or hotrod schemes will work, imagine how cool they would be, going round the track.

You thinking about including the trucks in the WRCA Craig, I think that would be wicked, keep it to kit tyres and a 10.5

I set H's electrics up, in the house, then buzzed it back and forth on the laminate flooring, and the tyres howled too.... it was ace!!
