I actually enjoyed the dampish track, it made it easier to drive in all honesty as normally the grip is ridiculous!!!

I think the meeting only went well because of how the track stood up to the weather, so well done to Ledbury.

Anyone know the results, by the time I checked I think Stuart had left?

Sodden, cold and snivelling but all that with a big smile

Credit to Nathan, Ray & Jamie....

Track was bloody great today, flowed well and grip was excellent considering the weather.

As I said to Jamie this has huge potential to become one of the best astro tracks in the country, just need more club members to generate the funds

Post photos from today

Hi guys.
I did take a few photos in between scrutineering and marshalling today and i am presently uploading them for you guys to see.
It was nice to see some good quality drivers getting some use out of the track.

It would be nice to get some feedback from the drivers on the day to see what the feeling are regarding the track.

Thanks guys.

heres a link and a few photos.

What a daywell done all involved keeping the meeting going, the weather was terrible to say the least.

The track was great and like lee said previously you have the makes of a superb astro circuit, testing yet consistant to drive, the jumps and features work well, keep up the work on the track and definatley use it more

Possibly will be my favourite track this season despite the weather

Thanks to everyone for getting the meeting on yesterday. The track was so much fun esp on yellows in the wet

Only thing that I could think of to improve the track would be to look at securing the astro down to prevent it rippling up like it has happend in a few areas. But other than that great job

Default Ledbury 2wd mid west regional

Well done to all at ledbury,1st class meeting crappy weather but the track dealed with it brill, only filled up with water in the dip before the straight but easy track diversion.Loads of grip ,will be very interesting in the dry with grip roll so keep your worn tyres. One of the best astro track avialable to use in the mid west.

Like driving in the dry almost, immense amount of grip...

My first drive on the Astro track and I was very pleased as I generally don't like the wet especially with 2wd, so to have that much grip made it very driveable

I think if the times are available to look at pretty much everyone got faster as the day went on despite the rain

Gutted that work still rules my life so had to miss this.

The Ledbury track is great isn't it ... in the dry the grip is high but not crazy, a bit like Kiddermister in the days of BB pins!!

Who thinks Ledbury should try and get some MAM action over the winter?

Well done to the Ledbury team for showing that their venue has a great wet weather track to offer the region, sorry I couldn't be there but I think the comments say it all

I ran round it with Roger a few weeks ago and didn't find it mega grippy. My yellows were pretty worn out though. Still a good track!

Brilliant comments guys thanks very much, will also pass the great replies back to my dad.
Yes sorry the one section was abit rippley we will get it streched out and pinned so less chance of this next time.

Only reason this happened is weve never had a wet race meeting on the astro in all fairness we always seem to get sun thats what i was hoping might happen yesterday

Thanks to all who came and soo pleased with myself at my qualifying 3rd in A and finishing 4th couldnt be happier.

Yes any votes on getting us into the MAM series? we would love that
