Southport Radio Car Club will host its Annual General Meeting concurrent with a race meeting on 3rd March 2013 at Birkdale High School.

For those who have not attended before the course of the meeting is as follows...

* Chair of the meeting will present and confirm the minutes of the previous AGM.
* Chair of the meeting will make an annual statement of club affairs.
* Treasurer or his representative will report on the financial status of the club.
* Outgoing committee will stand down.
* Incoming committee will be elected by the members present.
* Membership fees for the coming year and planned scale of race fees will be announced.
* Proposals notified in advance will be put to the members present for discussion and vote.
* Any other business.
* Outstanding prizes will be awarded.

The AGM will be open to paid club members only, with the exception of under16's who may be accompanied by suitable parent guardian to speak on their behalf.

Important Information

The AGM is the opportunity for members to have their views and ideas aired with their peers AND to stand for election to the committee if they wish to become directly involved and in the running and administration of the club.

Members can stand for any committee position (with the exception that some positions require age 18+). In the case more than one candidate stands for a given position then the members present will vote to elect.

Full feedback from the current committee with regards to who is wishing to re-stand for certain positions has not yet been received . However the committee does require some 'new blood'....

Our current; Chairman (Tony Mulligan), Secretary (Dan Webster), Webmaster (Chris Burgess) and Junior Drivers Rep (James Burgess) have decided not to re-stand for their current positions. These are key positions with respect to the orderly running of the club and all executive positions must be filled.

This section of the forum will be updated with any new or additional information relating to the AGM.

Opening of proposals and door times will be announced shortly.

Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
