Default DEX410RV3

Im considering getting the above kit. as I see this is the lower spec compared to the 'full fat' version. Is there anything I would be missing that is needed from the box, or is she good to go?

Any advise is appreciated!

Paul.

I've raced an "R" for the last 18months.
Only upgrade is the FF and FR brace mount things (for strength) and big bores
Only breakage is the read diff crown gear.
Toughest car I've ever come across.

The current price I can get the kit for is £129.99 Are the big bores a necessity? Im not intending to run 4wd alot - just for abit of fun every now and then really!

At £130 im tempted, any more and the appeal of a cheap change seems pointless for me.

The 410r is good, big bores not so important especially now its indoor season. The only upgrades if have done is a alu fr hanger (rest are plastic) and put longer camberlink ballstuds (td330347) on for the moulded shock towers as the std ones dont have enough length on them to put a nut on other side.

You will find quickly that the RV3 is going out of production and is now out of stock at it's American Distributor Tower. I don't think that's a problem however as parts will be available for quite a while and can always be replaced with up spec V3 and soon V4 parts.
