Default Replacement bearing sets?

Hi guys,

Anyone recommend a decent replacement bearing set for the Cougar SV? Not fussed about ceramic, just want a decent replacement set of bearings. Cheers.

Default Procat bearings set?

Anyone have any idea if any of the RCbearings sets would suit a Procat?

+1 for RCbearings.co.uk
Great new website, really good quality bearings, and Colin is a top bloke.

No idea if they do Procat, but give Colin a phone and ask him. He has always been really helpful to me in the past.

Hi Jools, Procat bearings are easy

12 pcs 8x16x5mm

http://www.rcbearings.co.uk/index.ph...&product_id=34

The 2 pcs 8x12x3.5mm flanged bearings for the front diff, I think you'll have to get those elsewhere.

Yeah, save money Will you buy a full set of 12 for your Procat?

I think stainless steel rubber sealed bearings are best for outdoors, aren't they?

For the rear hubs I'm using these from GAP Bearings on eBay...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/688-2RS-QU...ht_1301wt_1064

I had more cash I'd get these from BOCA...

http://www.bocabearings.com/bearing-...82YSNB2-8x16x5

It says only Abec 1 but I have some BOCA 8x12x3.5 flanged Abec 1 which have a lot less play than so-called Abec 5 from elsewhere. I guess there are other more important factors than Abec rating.

Yes Luke, a full set of 10 from GAP I think is the go, plus the 2 front flanged ones.
(Though I've hit another slight parts hurdle, so the bearings have slipped down the priority list!)
Fun ain't it!!!
