Default Brushless Rotor Aligment

back in the days of brushed we used to centre the arm in the can.

anyone doing this with brushless rotors or is not needed?

It's not needed is it, because you were adjusting the brush plates on a brushed motor

Not really

You shimmed the armature so it sat in the center of the magnetic field in the can before you put the endbell on. The comms were big enough to ensure good brush contact at all times.

BUT I dont know about whether it is necessary in brushless as it is still a black art to me
