Default 2013 Mid-South Regionals

Hi all,

The 2013 mid-south regional dates have now been released as per the following:

4wd Series
Round 1 - Silverstone - March 10th
Round 2 - T.O.R.C.H - April 28th
Round 3 - Stotfold - May 19th
Round 4 - Herts NMCC - June 16th
Round 5 - T.C.R.C.M.C - July 14th

2wd Series
Round 1 - Silverstone - March 31st -
Round 2 - Surrey & Hants R/C Car Club - May 12th
Round 3 - DMS Model Car Club - June 2nd
Round 4 - Stotfold Model Car Club - June 30th
Round 5 - T.O.R.C.H - August 4th

Booking in is via the following link: http://www.dmsresults.co.uk/

Entries are filling up fast, certianly the 2wd class which is the more popular of the two so get booked in if you're planning on doing the regional series this year.

It would be nice if we could get a 'group' from the club travelling to all of the venues, pitting together, helping each other out and genrally showing our support for the region!

We (TCRCMC) also have Round 5 of the 4wd series so that's certainly one for us all to look forward to!

Details of each event will no doubt be posted by the relevant clubs in due course, but one thing I would mention to look out for is what version of the lap counting software the respective clubs will be using at their events.

To quickly summarise:

RC3 Software will count the old style AMB/Mylaps Personal Transponders, MRT's & 'Harry' PT's but NOT the new 'Purcy's

RC4 Software will count the old style AMB/Mylaps Personal Transponders, 'Harry' PT's & the new 'Purcy' but NOT the MRT PT's.

Just a quick reminder to people that there's less than 2 weeks to go until the start of the 2013 Mid-South Regional Series.

The first round is 4wd, and being held by Silverstone so make sure you get booked into that round and all of the other 2&4wd rounds, including our very own TCRCMC 4wd round being run in July (14th!).

Also a quick note to say that all of the regional rounds are running an 'Open Class' on the regional day which would be opposite of the regional class... so for example, for our 4wd round, we will be running a 2wd class alongside the regional scoring 4wd class should people wish to enter.

Entries are via the same way on the http://www.dmsresults.co.uk/ web page.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the regional events this year!

Small race report can be found on the clubs website on how the TCRCMC club members got on at the first round of the Mid-South 4wd Regional held at Silverstone on Sunday 10th March.
