Default B44.3 Shorty Vs. Saddle

Hi,

What are people experiences of running the B44.3 with the shorty configuration vs. saddle configuration.

My son runs in saddle mode mainly because he was used to a B44.2 and we decided to keep the basic chassis the same to get used to the gear diffs etc. Have run it on bumpy outdoor astro and indoor carpet with no desire to change so far.

Also for what its worth at Worksop for the BWOC, Neil Cragg was running saddle on a slippy sports hall floor.

I ran my .3 for the first time today on a grass track outdoors. The weather was good but the ground was very moist and soft. I ran it in shorty configuration with yellow mini spikes, 7K 100K 5K diffs and no roll bar. Overall I was really pleased with it, felt like I had plenty steering and the car jumped superbly however it was slightly twitchy in the rear still. Think it would have been alright had the ground been harder but in future I think I'll be making a few changes. Thinking of adding some weight across the rear first of all to see if that helps. Overall really pleased with the car
