Nice, what time does this start? Might come along if I can escape house renovating hell.... Takes me back to racing on tarmac at the Medway club in the 90's... Pro-line stubbies always worked the best there for me, good combination of big chunky flat topped spikes and a fairly soft compound which worked all the way till nearly bald. Lasted a fair while. These were better than green minis against the clock. What is modern equivalent? Losi silver mini pins were also the bomb....for about one run... Has anyone tried Proline suburbs?

Anyway, DIRT DIRT DIRT DIRT DIRT!!!!

Sorry about that.

looks good matt, cant wait. Are you keeping the rumble strips? I thought that they were a good feature. Can Andre the ramp machine make a wall of death, and a table top.

Good work this Tuesday is going to awesome!!

the rumble parts are staying, looking at making a tabletop corner and some of the kickers used with wood in the middle not sure where we would put the wall of death yet but im sure we'll figure it out

Big kicker at the end of the straight and a free burger and chips to anyone who can land on and complete a circuit of the disused scalextric track up on the mezzanine

Well done with the jumps Matt, just one point, they all look exactly the same height, can you get Andre the jump machine to cut some 4 inch posts to length so we can put them under the ramps to raise them up if required?

Hi Matt,

I'm looking forward to coming to next Tuesday's meeting with some other racers. May I just say, I understand people are constantly asking about jumps, this, that and the other, however, can you please make the track drivable and have an off road track, not an obstacle course. In my opinion so many indoor clubs sometimes confuse the two.

Just my opinion!!!!

Cheers Matt,

Matt

It's hard to explain, we hope we will be able to show you rather than tell you. I believe with the vast array of driving capabilities - from good to bad - that the silverstone committee have, we are able to create a track that suits almost all abillities.

I would just like to reiterate that the 'obstacle course' thing was my opinion only! It just doesn't suit my nearly there (could be a fast driver) on/off switch left thumb driving style To coin a spenner phrase!

See you on the 4th of December......
