Default WKRCC Off-road track Open Day

Steve Andrews has confirmed an opportunity for all 1:10 electric buggy drivers in the South East (and beyond if interested!).

The WKRCC (West Kent Radio Car Club, http://www.wkrcc.co.uk/), outdoors off-road track will be available for an Open Practice Day on Sunday 26 April 2009.

Located at the rear of: The Plough, The Powdermills, Leigh, TONBRIDGE, Kent, TN11 9AJ, the track will be available all day for practice only!
THIS IS NOT A RACE MEETING AS RACE TIMING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY, SORRY!

The fee for the day, with drivers arriving and departing at their leisure, will be £5. The Pub and Toilets will be open early, though at this time there is no arrangements for food early on, though should drivers advise us of their attendance WKRCC (SA) may be able to arrange facilities. There will be the normal pub facilities at lunchtime.

This'll be an ideal opportunity to get some early practice on a 'traditional' grass track so lets all get along there on the day and support Steve, WKRCC and the South East Region.

Thanks for looking,
Steven Brooke

If so any ideas how many?

Anybody else going along to take up this opportunity?

There's no pressure to get there early, we certainly won't be!

Come and go as you please!

Just a few things for those looking to attend tomorrow!

Please do not arrive at the track until at least 09:00AM! The track WILL NOT be open until then, Steve A has a little work today before we can use the facilities. Damn Rabbits!

The pub will be open in the morning for toilets facilities, they will be doing teas and coffees early but not their famous bacon rolls, unfortunately we can not predict how many are going to turn up!

Food will be available from the bar and in the carvery at the usual pub opening times but be warned as it may be very busy due to.....

There is due to be a vintage car show in the pub car park at lunchtime, please be aware and be very careful and lets see if we can get some of these enthusiasts to come and look at our side of things!

Hope to see you there, weather forecast looks OK!
