Hi Jimmy,

They are all based on Mardave's V12 chassis. Some run extended chassis for the American or Hearse shells.

It's all basic stuff. 2 channel radio - manual speed controller - 4 cells. Foam or rubber tyres. Pretty agricultural but it works. The cars take a hell of a battering and just keep on going. Spares are well cheap - like £1.75 for a pair of wishbones. The most expensive part is the shell. My hearse was £7.99 and lasted 1 meeting. How long the shell lasts is down to how aggressive you want to be. It's full contact banger racing in miniature.

Best thing is - NO MARSHALLING! You race, check your car over, and then you can watch or chat until your next race.

Some modify shells and make stretch limos - limit to race is 30 inches. As well as the cars meetings are run for vans, chained pairs, Pre 1968 shells, all American cars, caravans, etc etc.

The track is (I think) a 16 metre oval with a post and wire outside barrier which certainly makes a mess of your car if you go through it!

If anyone wants to know more feel free to PM me.
