Default sticky problem

When im spraying my body shells i always have the problem of sticky left behind from the window masks and tape i use to mask my design
What i want to know is what do people use to remove this without affecting the lexen or damage to the paint and still able to spray paint the area that has just been cleaned from the sticky left behind?
What i use for my masking is the same as the window masks that come with the bodys.

First step is to stop using the window masks that come with shells, they are always cheap vinyl and leave residue.
Get a good quality masking tape like 3M etc. even the Tamiya tape is quite good.
You could always lay the tape out and apply the window masks to the masking tape to use as a guide if you don't feel confident in doing them completely freehand whilst on the shell.
As for residue, the first thing would be to try to remove the residue with a piece of masking tape and normally works better than resorting to chemicals.
After that if no luck try some rubbing alcohol.

I would say use some light fluid on a lint free rag, usually does the trick for me

For future shells I would say get a small pot of Jon's RCS liquid mask, I've just used four coats on some quick one colour paint jobs, go round the windows with a sharpie and with a bit of scalpel work it really does the trick

Rcs liquid mask its excellent stuff, just brush the window area before you start 2 - 3 good coats and trim off waste, thats if all your doing is masking windows.
And allow good drying time, i normally prep the shell days before spraying
